Trend towards user-friendly maintenance-free solutions: Original equipment manufacturers like the reliability and ease of use of maintenance-free technologies like AGM, and Lithium.
Flooded Batteries are demanding: They create more challenges, lead to more call -outs for rental companies, and require extra maintenance.
Lithium’s Potential: There was much talk about Lithium, but the upfront cost, counter weight challenges are being heavily considered by OEMs and rental companies.
Distribution and Support Challenges: The world is big, and it’s hard to find the right support in every geography.
Taxes, Tariffs and Uncertainty: Most OEMs are either searching for or already making machines outside of China They need energy storage solutions that are also produced outside China for the USA market. It's even better if these solutions are made in North America.
