Discover Battery Showcases the Future of Construction Electrification at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026

Introducing a new Lithium Mobile platform, enhancing its Lithium Professional range and highlighting proven AGM technology, engineering for the demands of modern job sites, helping fleets work longer.

Memphis, Tennessee February 19, 2026: Discover Battery, a global manufacturer of advanced lead and lithium energy storage solutions, will make its debut as an exhibitor at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, marking a significant milestone in the company’s expansion within the construction and mobile equipment sectors. In Booth D1334 (Diamond Lot), Discover will present a broadened portfolio of battery technologies, including the launch of a brand-new Lithium Mobile platform, an enhanced Lithium Professional solution optimized for demanding construction and rental duty cycles, and the reinforcement of its legacy Dry Cell AGM traction battery range.

“Because CONEXPO-CON/AGG brings together OEMs, rental companies, fleet operators, and integrators in one place, it is an ideal environment for Discover to demonstrate how it supports the electrification of construction and industrial equipment,” says Peter Johnston, Discover’s vice president of business development - lithium. “Attendees who stop by the Discover booth will be able to see our expanded product portfolio firsthand and experience our commitment to delivering application-driven battery solutions designed for demanding real-world conditions.”

A New Lithium Mobile Platform

At this year’s show, Discover will introduce its newest product, the Lithium Mobile battery DLM-16000-48V, a North America-focused solution designed for high-power mobile and industrial applications. Delivering 16 kWh of energy at 51.2 V with 314 Ah capacity and charge/discharge capability up to 200 A, the platform is engineered to support equipment requiring extended runtime and significant auxiliary power demand while maintaining a compact, ruggedized form factor suited to demanding jobsite environments.

The Lithium Mobile platform combines high energy density with stable voltage delivery under heavy load and integrated system intelligence through Discover Electronics and the Forge Battery Management System. The system incorporates advanced safety architecture, integrated heating capability and certified protection standards, including UL 9540, UL 9540A and UL 1973, along with an IP-65/NEMA 3R outdoor-rated enclosure designed for operation in harsh environmental conditions.

The solution is particularly suited for mobile energy applications such as lighting towers, construction trailers, mobile power units and remote job site systems, where operators require reliable, maintenance-free power together with predictable performance and simplified deployment. According to Discover’s internal analysis, the Lithium Mobile platform can achieve cost parity with AGM batteries in solar trailer applications while delivering efficiency, energy density and operational advantages associated with lithium technology.

Enhanced Lithium Professional (DLP) Range

In addition to its brand-new Lithium Mobile platform, Discover will highlight its Lithium Professional (DLP) GC2-format battery range at the show. While the GC2 platform itself remains familiar, Discover has enhanced the solution through improved system-level integration, advanced communication capabilities using its LINK gateway and optimized performance for high-duty, vibration-intensive applications.

Built on a standardized BCI GC2 footprint widely used across industrial equipment, the range enables true drop-in electrification while maintaining compatibility with existing battery compartments and system layouts.

Available in configurations from 12V to 48V, the modular platform delivers approximately 1.5 kWh per battery unit, enabling scalable system design with up to 20 batteries connected in parallel. The system is powered by Discover’s high-performance Battery Management System, supporting continuous discharge rates up to 2C with peak loads reaching 3C and fast 1C recharge capability. Integrated internal heating enables battery charging at temperatures down to –20 °C, supporting reliable year-round outdoor operation.

Enhanced system-level integration is enabled through Discover’s LYNK communication architecture, supporting plug-and-play multi-battery networking, advanced power coordination and real-time system visibility for OEMs and fleet operators. Designed for demanding environments, the Lithium Professional batteries feature IP67-rated enclosures, flame-resistant construction and automotive-grade cobalt-free LiFePO4 cells engineered for safe, long-life performance.

By combining lithium efficiency, modular scalability and a standardized GC2 footprint, the platform allows customers to achieve the required performance with fewer batteries compared to traditional lead-acid installations while simplifying deployment and maintenance.

Proven Dry Cell AGM Technology

Alongside its lithium innovations, Discover will showcase its Dry Cell AGM traction battery range, reinforcing the company’s long-standing leadership in maintenance-free lead-acid battery technology. The Dry Cell AGM lineup highlights Discover’s technology-neutral approach, recognizing that different applications require different energy solutions.

Discover pioneered AGM traction technology for industrial and aerial work platform applications, delivering maintenance-free operation, enhanced durability and consistent performance in demanding operating environments. The fully sealed design eliminates the need for watering and reduces safety risks.

At the same time, advanced engineering, such as Discover Battery’s Hydro Polymer technology, a major advancement in AGM battery chemistry, addresses the demanding duty cycles of MEWPs. By stabilizing the electrolyte at a nano-structural level, this innovation significantly reduces common causes of premature battery failure, such as electrolyte dry-out, heat stress, stratification and inconsistent charging, issues that are increasingly prevalent as access platforms become more powerful, connected and electronically complex.

Advancing Electrification

Discover’s participation at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 reflects broader industry trends as equipment electrification accelerates and fleet operators seek improved utilization, lower total cost of ownership and increased operational efficiency.

“By offering lithium and AGM technologies within a unified portfolio, Discover enables customers to select battery solutions based on application requirements, performance expectations and economic considerations rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach,” says Johnston.
